This season has been very disappointing for Inaki Pena, who would have expected to be the undisputed number one after Marc-Andre Ter Stegen picked up his injury.

However, Wojciech Szczęsny has won Hansi Flick’s confidence and currently, it seems like there are no opportunities for the 26-year-old in the first team.

Due to this, there have been a lot of rumours about his departure, most recently a report has linked him with a surprise move to PSG.

Galatasaray target Inaki Pena

AS are also claiming that Turkish side Galatasaray have emerged as a potential destination for Pena as they look to replace Fernando Muslera who will be leaving at the end of the season.

The 26-year-old Spaniard has already spent time with Gala in 2022 where he deputised for Muslera whilst he was injured.

Pena’s current deal with Barcelona is set to expire in 2026 and with his value being around €10million, he could be a very affordable option for the Turkish club.
