During an interview today, Fermin Lopez, a gold medalist in the heart-stopping men’s football final at #Paris2024!, shared his loan experience with Linares, a Spanish club in the 3rd division.
In 2022, Fermin was loaned to Linares Deportivo in Primera Federación to gain playing time and experience. Fermín Lopez did just that and was the top scorer for the team with 12 goals and 4 assists.
In the interview, he said, “When I was loaned to Linares in the 3rd division, I saw it as a chance to prove myself.”
Despite the performance in Linares, Fermin Lopez revealed that he hoped to return to Barca Atletic or go to another team but did not imagine joining Barcelona’s first team.
Fermin Lopez did not hesitate to remind the football world about his undeniable love for Barcelona, expressed in the recently signed deal that would keep him in Barcelona until 2029.
Despite the slow start to the 2024/2025 season after the spectacular performance during the 2024 Olympics, Fermin Lopez has once again looked to find his scoring boot.
