This week has been great for Barcelona when it comes to extending contracts as Ronald Araújo and Gerard Martin both officially signed their new deals.
Unfortunately, there are many more contracts at Barca that are set to enter their last 12 months in July. Lamine Yamal, Robert Lewandowski and Eric Garcia just to name a few.
Fortunately for the Blaugrana, Deco seems to be prioritising these deals, and he has reportedly agreed a couple more, this time with two of Barca’s most highly rated midfielders, Pedri and Gavi.
Victor Navarro, via Managing Barca, has confirmed that the Spanish duo have verbally agreed renewals with the club.
This is a massive boost for Hansi Flick’s side as so far, the German coach has relied heavily on the two youngsters to hold down his midfield.
The form that Pedri and Gavi are showing is a big positive for the club, as the pair recently suffered major injuries and there were some doubts about them being able to return to their prior form.
Thankfully the two Spanish internationals are playing some of the best football they have for the Blaugrana, meaning contract extensions were a no-brainer for the board.
