Big European Clubs on alert as Barcelona put big player on the market

PSG and Manchester United are ready to pounce to sign Barcelona star.

Last month, SPORT revealed that Frenkie de Jong has caught the attention of several European powerhouses, including Manchester United, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich, with Paris Saint-Germain closely monitoring his situation as well.

Despite the growing interest, de Jong remains committed to staying at Barcelona.

However, PSG have a track record of luring key players away from the Catalan club, and with the summer of 2025 on the horizon, the French champions could target the Dutch midfielder.

In recent seasons, PSG have bolstered their midfield with talents like Vitinha, Fabián Ruiz, and João Neves, but adding de Jong could elevate their options further.

According to Fichajes, Barcelona might consider parting ways with the 26-year-old for a fee of around €50 million. While no formal moves have been made yet, de Jong’s availability could spark a transfer battle among Europe’s top clubs.
