Sunday’s performance against Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup final was one for the ages and will be spoken about for a long time.
Thanks to goals from Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal and Alejandro Balde, the Blaugrana ran out convincing victors, defeating Los Blancos 5-2.
Despite all of the positive vibes, the Man of the Match, Raphinha, had to come off shortly before the end of the game, with what looked to be a slight knock.
With a relentless fixture schedule on the horizon, fans were hoping that the Brazilian superstar was not set for a spell on the sidelines.
Fortunately, Mundo Deportivo have reported that the 28-year-old was only suffering from cramps and that he will be available for the Copa Del Rey game against Real Betis on Wednesday.
Raphinha has arguably been Hansi Flick’s most important player since he joined and there are already murmurs that he is one of the favourites for the Ballon d’Or next season.
So far this campaign the Brazilian has scored 19 goals and provided 11 assists for Barca, so if he keeps that form up then anything is possible.
