Barcelona stays dedicated to acquiring elite players despite their widely recognized financial limitations.
Their most recent concentration is on the leading attacker of AC Milan, Rafael Leão, whose substantial worth presents a difficulty. As per Teamtalk, Barcelona is contemplating an innovative strategy to alleviate financial pressure:
incorporating Ferran Torres in the exchange agreement to reduce the expense of procuring Leão.
Leão, who had a £147.5 million release clause at AC Milan in the past, no longer possesses that provision. Negotiating a lower cost will be challenging, as TeamTalk notes that “a player of his quality will be expensive.” Therefore, Barcelona’s plan to include Torres in the deal could be beneficial if it works out.
Torres “has found the net once and assisted in the opening four games of the season, but Barcelona may view Leão as a better choice.”
By selling off Torres, Barcelona could not only free up space in their team but also lessen the financial strain of bringing in Leão.
