Barcelona will have a busy transfer market in 2025

Barcelona have chosen €80 million-rated winger as their priority for 2025.

Barcelona are keen on bolstering their left-wing options, with SPORT reporting that two standout players have emerged as potential targets: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia of Napoli and AC Milan’s Rafael Leão.

Among the two, the Catalan club reportedly sees Kvaratskhelia as the more attainable choice.

The Georgian winger’s appeal lies in his affordability, earning just €1.5 million annually—a figure that fits within Barcelona’s financial limitations.

At 23, Kvaratskhelia offers immense potential and a playing style well-suited to Barcelona’s possession-based football philosophy. Despite a slight dip in form, his adaptability and skill make him an enticing option.

However, negotiating with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis may prove challenging, as the player lacks a release clause.

Meanwhile, Leão is seen as an alternative. The Portuguese forward brings physicality and technical prowess but comes with a more complicated situation, including reported tensions at Milan and higher financial demands.

For now, Barcelona seem to prioritize Kvaratskhelia as their main target.
