FC Barcelona is reportedly exploring the possibility of acquiring 25-year-old Polish goalkeeper Marcin Bulka from Ligue 1 club OGC Nice during the upcoming summer transfer window of 2025.
A report by SPORT indicates that the Catalan club is actively pursuing a goalkeeper, with Bulka being identified as a potential candidate.
Since his move from Paris Saint-Germain to OGC Nice in July 2022, he has emerged as a standout goalkeeper in Ligue 1.
Barcelona’s pursuit of Bulka is sensible, particularly in light of their recent acquisition of Wojciech Szczesny to fill in temporarily after Marc-Andre ter Stegen’s injury.
Ter Stegen is anticipated to make a comeback prior to the 2025/26 season, however, due to his age exceeding 30 years old, a successor for the long term is necessary.
Bulka may have the potential to replace Szczesny in the main squad, although it is uncertain if he will sufficiently impress Barcelona to receive an offer in 2025.
