Barcelona are reportedly keeping a close eye on Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush as they begin planning for life after Robert Lewandowski.
The Catalan club is evaluating potential long-term replacements for their veteran striker, with names like Erling Haaland, Viktor Gyökeres, and Alexander Isak previously linked. Marmoush has now emerged as a new contender, according to Diario Sport.
The Egyptian international has been in sensational form this season, scoring 13 goals in just 12 Bundesliga appearances, which has also attracted attention from Liverpool and Manchester United.
Barcelona are said to admire Marmoush for his versatility, scoring consistency, and prowess from set pieces. Unlike pricier alternatives like Haaland and Gyökeres, Marmoush could be a more affordable option, with a reported price tag of around €45 million.
However, his stellar performances may drive up demand, making it a competitive race for his signature if he maintains his remarkable run of form.
