Barcelona has reportedly set its sights on securing a high-caliber center-back during the summer of 2025, with Nottingham Forest’s Murillo identified as a primary target.
According to HITC, the club has started monitoring Murillo’s development at Nottingham Forest.
The club’s scouts have been greatly impressed by his outstanding performance since his transfer from Corinthians for £11 million in August 2023.
The Brazilian, who has not yet received a national cap, is known for his strong ball-carrying ability and defensive skills, as well as being left-footed – qualities highly valued by top teams such as Barcelona.
Barcelona may encounter strong competition for Murillo if they choose to pursue him in the upcoming summer transfer window. The report further suggests that Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are monitoring his status for potential bids.
