The issue with Vitor Roque’s transfer to Palmeiras is the recent battle between Barcelona and La Liga.

The move has received various updates in the past few weeks, from Palmeiras’ agreement with Barcelona and Betis to the player, then to La Liga halting the deal and Barcelona’s response to La Liga’s stance.

As it stands, Barcelona, per their defence, have taken the issue to FIFA, who have ruled in favour of the Blaugrana club.

FIFA have approved Barcelona’s sale of Vitor Roque despite earlier rejections from La Liga and RFEF.

However, Barcelona still need to terminate Roque’s loan with Real Betis before the deal can be finalised; the Catalan club have until Friday to make it happen.

According to journalist Roger Torello, in the possible scenario, if the contract is signed and approved before the Brazilian league transfer market closes, Barce will receive €25 million for 80% of the player’s rights.
