Barcelona to keep an eye on huge talent this week

Barcelona have requested seats for their scouts to watch Champions League sensation.

Sporting CP have seen manager Rúben Amorim depart for Manchester United this month, but striker Viktor Gyökeres has made it clear he plans to stay put until the summer.

Despite his commitment, several top clubs are expected to circle the Estádio José Alvalade in the coming months.

Gyökeres, 26, has established himself as one of Europe’s most sought-after strikers. The Swedish forward has already netted 30 goals this season, drawing significant attention ahead of the summer transfer window.

While his valuation was initially estimated at €60-70 million, the rising interest could see Sporting demand his full €100 million release clause.

According to Record in Portugal, Barcelona and Atlético Madrid are among five clubs sending scouts to watch Sporting’s upcoming Champions League clash with Arsenal.

They’ll be joined by Manchester City, Bayern Munich, and Amorim’s new club, Manchester United, all keen to monitor Gyökeres as he continues his remarkable season.
