Barcelona to get a major squad boost

Barcelona set to receive a HUGE boost to their squad.

Frenkie de Jong has been out of action for around four months because of an injury, but Barcelona is hopeful that he will be back soon.

MARCA reports that de Jong is anticipated to make a comeback following the upcoming international break, potentially returning to play against Girona.

According to MARCA, de Jong is expected to be back with the squad in approximately two weeks. While he is still in the process of recovering, he is having frequent evaluations to keep track of his injured ankle’s progress.

Recent examinations have revealed encouraging indications of advancement.

De Jong will have to step up and provide additional support for the team in the absence of Marc Bernal for an extended period.

De Jong has had difficulty maintaining his top form at Barcelona since he moved from Ajax a couple of years ago. In the upcoming season, he will be under pressure to perform without making any excuses.

Furthermore, Gavi, another significant contributor, might also comeback by the end of the year. The young Golden Boy is putting in a lot of effort into his rehabilitation, and it is indicated that he may return to competition by October or November as his recovery is going well.
