Barcelona has been at loggerheads with La Liga and the Spanish Federation for a long time regarding the registration of players.
A significant part of it can be traced to the economic situation, as the Blaugrana have failed to increase their salary limit enough to register the duo.
Dani Olmo and Pau Victor Registration Case Intensifies
After all registration issues have been settled, Dani Olmo and Pau Victor’s registration case remains an issue for the club, as La Liga recently took the issue to court.
Barcelona have expressed their confidence that the registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor will be permanent for the remainder of the season in the case of La Liga.
The Catalan club secured temporary permission in January after the sale of the VIP boxes at the Camp Nou worth €100m for the next 30 years.
La Liga and the Spanish Federation are still unsure if the €100 million deal that the club reported is genuine, as they fear that the agreement was done out of favor for Barcelona, while Barcelona has been steadfast that there will be no repercussions.
