Following recent speculation, it has been revealed that Liverpool’s talented forward, Luis Díaz, will continue his journey with the team, despite being linked to a possible move to Barcelona.
Barcelona has ultimately decided to sign Dani Olmo, which was made official today.
Last year, there were reports of Díaz’s interest in potentially joining Barcelona, with his father expressing that it would be a dream come true for the Colombian forward:
“Honestly, I don’t have much information about Barcelona right now.”
He continued, “It’s true that Luis has always been a passionate Barcelona supporter, and playing for them would be a dream come true. For now, I would like to express my gratitude to Porto and Liverpool for the way they have welcomed and treated him.”
However, it looks set that this move will not be a reality this summer.
