Next summer is set to be a huge transfer window for Barcelona as they look to take advantage of the free agency market.

There are so many world-class players who are out of contract in July and with Barça’s budget still unknown, it could be a huge opportunity to improve the squad long-term.

Just some of the players who are set to be available are Liverpool trio, Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold, as well as Bayer Leverkusen’s Jonathan Tah who has been linked with a move to Barcelona.

Another team that looks set to lose a lot of players for free are Bayern Munich who have Joshua Kimmich, Leroy Sane and Alphonso Davies entering their final months at the club.

Due to Hansi Flick’s links with the Bavarian side, the Blaugrana have naturally been linked with moves for all three, however, Kimmich has been heavily rumoured to be a target for Barça for some time.

However, according to Sport, citing BILD, the Catalonian side have decided to bow out of the race for the German midfielder, due to his high wage demands.

It does state that other top clubs are still in the race for his signature, such as PSG, Real Madrid and Manchester United, but it is thought that he prefers to extend with the Bundesliga outfit at the moment.
