Barcelona decide on strengthening 3 huge positions

Barcelona are targeting on reinforcing 3 key positions in 2025.

Barcelona are hopeful they’ll finally fall within their salary cap next summer, potentially giving them more flexibility in squad additions.

Although the club managed to bring in Dani Olmo and Pau Victor this summer, further moves were restricted. Now, Barcelona is already preparing for next summer’s transfer window, targeting reinforcements in three key areas.

As reported by Sport, a high-caliber left-winger is a primary focus, with Rafael Leao from AC Milan, Athletic Club’s Nico Williams, and Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia all on their radar.

The club believes they’ll be in a position to make a major signing without needing to offload significant players.

Sporting Director Deco also wants to strengthen full-back depth. Currently, youngsters Hector Fort and Gerard Martin are the only backup for Jules Kounde and Alejandro Balde.

Barcelona is considering adding two promising defenders, though the left-back role could involve a more experienced player to compete with Balde.

While the club has monitored Alphonso Davies, who is out of contract next summer, his expected move to Real Madrid and high salary demands make him unlikely for Barcelona. Alternative options include Benfica’s Alvaro Carreras and Wolves’ Hugo Bueno.

However, past financial constraints have forced Barcelona into unexpected moves, and the ability to execute their ideal transfer plans remains uncertain.
