Barcelona could find Ter Stegen’s replacement in France

Barcelona are keeping an eye on Ligue 1’s goalkeeper SENSATION.

FC Barcelona are said to be looking into information on Lille OSC’s Lucas Chevalier (22) as they consider the option of recruiting a high-quality goalkeeper this summer, as per Sport.

After Marc-André ter Stegen (32) got injured and uncertainties remained about Iñaki Peña Sotorres’ (25) ability to be a starter, the team temporarily brought in Wojciech Szczęsny (34) to finish off the season.

However, Barcelona still have worries about who will fill the position permanently.

While the club has not yet decided to purchase a new goalkeeper, acquiring Chevalier would necessitate a thorough assessment of their financial status.

The value of the young goalkeeper has been increasing consistently, particularly due to his impressive performances in Lille’s Champions League matches.

Barcelona believes that they would need to offer more than €40 million to convince Lille to sell him, as reported by Diario Sport.

This number could increase significantly if other clubs, like Paris Saint-Germain, who have shown interest in Chevalier for a while, join a bidding war.
