Barcelona is reportedly aiming to part ways with a big player this summer in a bid to secure funds for a major new signings like Dani Olmo and Nico Williams.
The Club is eager to enhance their team and has been linked with Spain Euro 2024 stars Nico Williams and Dani Olmo. However, in order to balance their budget, the club must first offload players, as revealed by Fabrizio Romano yesterday.
As per The Athletic, a total of eight players are available for the right price. This list includes high earners such as Frenkie de Jong and Ronaldo Araujo, both of whom are currently injured, making potential transfers unlikely.
Despite being deemed dispensable, Raphinha has expressed a desire to stay at the club. Conversely, Barcelona is open to the departure of his compatriot, Vitor Roque. With an excess of center-backs, both Clement Lenglet and Mikayil Faye are up for grabs. Lenglet, who spent last season on loan at Aston Villa, remains on significant wages, while Faye’s market value has yet to attract much interest.
Even though Ferran Torres was the club’s second-highest goal scorer last season, only behind Robert Lewandowski, he is also on the transfer list due to being considered expendable.
It remains to be seen, if any player will end up leaving the club.
