[FIRST HALF]
The starting of matches haven’t been good for Barça since the last few matches. This time it wasn’t any different. Barça lost another of its forwards to injury, this time it was The Shark Ferran Torres. Ferran was subbed off injured in the 7th minute. Xavi bought on newly first team registered Fermin and he was soon playing like one impact sub. He was making runs behind the defence and receiving those loop in balls from the back. But none of that was enough to get a goal. Osasuna had their moments too but none of the sides could score.
[SECOND HALF]
Barça were patient in their build-up in this half and were playing well. Fermin was subbed off and it was time for Roque to sign and he did. Just after coming on the pitch in the 63rd minute, he scored his first goal of Barça and European Career. It was a header to give the Blaugrana a lead at the near post from the cross of Cancelo. The deadlock was finally broken and Barça were in the lead. This clearly looked on Osasuna players as within five minutes of the goal, their captain Unai Garcia was shown a second yellow. Their players lacked all the confidence and with 10 players it became difficult for them to make a comeback. Barça were looking to score more and more. And in the 79th minute Lewa scored but it was ruled offside. Roque was playing like he has been here for years.
Barça won the match and are now hopefully back on the winning track. Pedri was the best player for Barça on the pitch and was playing his best game since coming back from injury. Barça play Alaves on Saturday, it’ll be an away game.
