Hansi Flick concludes his decision on very important position

Hansi Flick makes huge plan on the squad’s key position situation for the season.

The season-ending knee injury suffered by Marc-Andre Ter Stegen has raised significant concerns regarding Barcelona’s goalkeeping situation.

The German goalkeeper was previously the established first-choice, but now that he is expected to be out for an extended period, the position is open for competition.

Inaki Pena has taken over as the starting goalkeeper in place of Ter Stegen, with Wojciech Szczesny also joining on a temporary basis until the season concludes to vie for the role.

Sport reports that Hansi Flick intends to support Pena going forward, as he started in the important Champions League match against Bayern Munich earlier tonight.

Szczesny will function as the alternate option presently but may have a chance to step in if there are worries about Pena’s performances.

Although Pena has shown uneven form since the previous season, leading to doubts from some Barcelona supporters about his dependability, Flick maintains faith in the 25-year-old and is supporting him for the moment.
