Tonight’s game is much anticipated, especially considering the last time these two sides faced off, Barcelona destroyed Real Madrid in their own backyard.
Heading into the game, there were some worries, especially for Carlo Ancelotti’s side around injuries.
Aurelien Tchouameni, Jude Bellingham, Fede Valverde and Luka Modric were all suffering knocks ahead of the El Clasico final.
However, speaking in his press conference prior to the Super Cup Final, via ManagingBarca, Ancelotti provided an update on his squad’s fitness heading into tonight’s game against Barça.
“All the players are available for the final.”
Both teams are going into this game with a fairly strong squad. Hansi Flick’s side are also set to be boosted by the return of Pau Victor and Dani Olmo who are now officially registered.
Meanwhile, Lamine Yamal is expected to start after he came off the bench and scored in the semi-final against Bilbao.
