Dani Olmo has not had an easy start to his Barcelona career, recently going through what must have been a very stressful time with regards to his registration.

Fortunately, the Spanish international is now registered with Barça, at least until the CSD decide on a final outcome on the case in April.

However, it looks like the bad luck is continuing for Olmo, as it has been reported that he has picked up a muscle injury.

The 26-year-old replaced Gavi in the second half of yesterday’s match against Getafe, where he subsequently picked up the muscle strain.

Thankfully, Javi Miguel has confirmed Olmo’s injury is not serious and he should only be out for around 10 days.

During that time, Hansi Flick’s side will face Benfica in the Champions League, as well as Valencia in La Liga.

It is assumed that Olmo will be available for the Atalanta game, however, with the Blaugrana having all of their current midfielders fit, it would not make sense to risk him if it is not totally necessary.
