Barcelona have had a lot of problems in defence as injuries are piling up after the international break.
It was believed that two of Barcelona’s key defenders will be available for the match against Osasuna.
However, one of those defenders is now ruled out for the upcoming clash — Pau Cubarsi, the young centre back, who was injured while playing for Spain is not yet ready to come back.
According to reliable Javi Miguel from Diario AS, Pau Cubarsi is not available and fit to be included in the squad for Osasuna’s match.
He is not training today and barring any surprises, he will be unavailable for the next La Liga match.
It comes as a huge blow to Hansi Flick’s side as they are already thin in defence.
However, it’s not all bad news as Pedri, Lamine, Olmo, Ferran Torres, Frenkie de Jong and Kounde are with the squad in training today.
Barcelona would not want to squander their lead in La Liga and will be looking for all three points against a tough side.
Inigo Martinez will be available and is pushing to start the match, but Ronald Araujo and Raphinha are only expected to be on the bench.
Pau Cubarsi’s absence will be notable, but Flick’s team should have enough fire power to get the job done.
