Premier League clubs want Barcelona star

Man United and Newcastle eyeing up a move for highly-rated midfield prodigy.

Manchester United and Newcastle United are said to have an interest in Barcelona midfielder Marc Bernal.

According to Spanish journalist Moises Llorens, both English clubs are keeping an eye on the development of the 17-year-old talent, but it is unclear if they will make a formal move in the near future.

Bernal is under contract with Barcelona until 2026, with a release clause of €20 million. Both Manchester United and Newcastle possess the financial resources necessary to complete the deal.

The outcome of this situation remains uncertain. This defensive midfielder could prove to be a strategic long-term investment for Manchester United.

Llorens acknowledges Bernal’s desire to stay at Camp Nou and affirms that Barcelona has no plans to sell him at present. If the release clause is activated, the club cannot stop his departure.
