La Masia Graduate Moriba Regrets Decision
According to Actualite Barca, La Masia Iliax Moriba, on leaving Barcelona, said, “I made a mistake leaving Barcelona. I was young and under a lot of pressure.”
Iliax Moriba has been quite impressive in his short time with the Catalan club after coming through the La Masia academy.
He made his first-team debut for the Spanish giant in 2020, during the 2020-2021 season, and was considered an up-and-coming player due to his physicality, vision, and skills.
After a disagreement with Barcelona over the offered contract, Moriba left the club in August 2021 and moved to RB Leipzig in Germany.
