Barcelona has finalized their search for a new pivot with the appointment of Hansi Flick as head coach.
Various players had been linked to the club following Sergio Busquets’ departure, but recent reports suggest that further recruitment is no longer required.
Flick has assessed the team’s current roster and believes it is well-equipped in that position.
He expressed confidence in the abilities of Marc Casado, Eric Garcia, and Andreas Christensen, and looks forward to bolstering the midfield with the return of Gavi, Frenkie de Jong, and Fermin Lopez to full fitness.
The report also states that Deco had evaluated Chelsea players Romeo Lavia and Carney Chukwuemeka, however, Flick chooses to depend on the current squad.
