Flick has found two new stars to replace Lamine Yamal

Hansi Flick is considering TWO youngsters to replace injured Lamine Yamal.

Barcelona’s “next man up” philosophy continues to define their approach, and with Lamine Yamal sidelined for this weekend’s clash against Celta Vigo, Hansi Flick is expected to stick with that strategy.

The 17-year-old sensation is recovering from an ankle injury and won’t feature in the trip to Galicia.

In his absence, 19-year-old Unai Hernández is likely to step up. The young attacker, who has captained Barça Atlètic at times this season, trained with the senior squad on Thursday and is set to do so again on Friday, according to SPORT.

Hernández is expected to be part of the squad traveling to face Celta. German prospect Noah Darvich also trained with the first team and remains in contention.

Primarily deployed as a left winger cutting inside on his right foot, Hernández is versatile enough to play as a central attacking midfielder, a right winger, or even in midfield.

The teenager recently marked his 50th appearance for Barça Atlètic and has been a standout performer despite the team’s struggles in the third tier, contributing six goals and one assist in 13 matches under Albert Sanchez.

With injuries also ruling out Ansu Fati and Ferran Torres, Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski are set to lead the attack, while Hernández could compete with Dani Olmo, Fermín López, and Pau Víctor for the final attacking spot.
