Barcelona talent Ansu Fati has once again attracted the interest of Turkish powerhouse Fenerbahçe as they look toward the second half of the season.
This update comes from Diario Sport, who shed light on Fati’s current situation on Wednesday.
The young winger has faced a challenging season so far. Since rejoining Barcelona following a loan spell at Brighton & Hove Albion, Fati has struggled to make an impact, hampered by fitness issues and fierce competition for a starting spot.
As a result, it’s widely believed that Fati could be allowed to leave in January if he wishes to pursue more regular game time.
According to Sport, Fenerbahçe are prepared to act on this possibility. The Turkish club, who showed strong interest in Fati during the summer, are reportedly eager to renew their pursuit of the 21-year-old—reportedly at the request of manager José Mourinho.
Fenerbahçe are expected to propose a loan move for the second half of the season and are willing to cover Fati’s entire salary through June.
