Barcelona receive an offer for key player in January

Barcelona star already has an offer to leave the club in January.

Ansu Fati has returned to FC Barcelona this season, benefiting from changes in the coaching staff for a fresh start.

The new German coach took notice of the young forward in early training sessions; however, an unfortunate injury kept him out of the pre-season tour in the USA and initial matches.

According to SPORT, Fati, a La Masia product, is mulling over a potential move to Sevilla on a six-month loan in January.

Speculation surrounding Fati’s future at Barcelona emerged last summer but was hindered by the club’s inability to find a suitable replacement.

Barcelona may be cautious in allowing players to leave in January if they cannot reclaim a 1:1 squad status, but Fati’s case presents a unique circumstance.

The club is eager to prevent him from missing another important year for his development. Sevilla’s coach, Garcia Pimienta, is acquainted with Fati from his coaching tenure at Barcelona’s youth level and has voiced his intention to incorporate the forward into his team to assist him in returning to top form.
