Barcelona are soaring this season under Hansi Flick, and whatever they touch becomes entertaining and beautiful.

Not a single player on the roster is good enough to start a competitive match. There have been many Ballon d’Or shoutouts for most players following their spectacular performances.

Brazilian winger Raphinha, who has lit up the Uefa Champions League with 16 goal contributions in this new format, has amazed the footballing world this season.

In the return leg of the Champions League tie with Benfica, Raphinha once again stole the show with two goals and an assist.

Raphinha Earns Ballon d’Or Shout

On Tuesday, Barcelona’s on-fire winger continued to shine and earned a shout-out for the favorite candidate for the Ballon d’Or.

Raphinha, for his part, has been in top form again this evening, scoring the only goal in the tie’s opener and two goals and providing an assist in today’s clash, which was enough for qualification.

This comes on the heels of an electrifying all-round performance, adding to an already remarkable season for the former Leeds United player.

So much so that, on Tuesday evening, appeals resumed for Raphinha to be considered a top candidate to win the Ballon d’Or later this year.
