La Liga has been under intense pressure and there has been much noise surrounding referee decisions.  Spanish clubs are having difficulty digesting the decisions taken in the league, and fans need a comment from the President.

Barcelona have complained about the issue since last season. However, nothing was done about it, and rivals had their talks about the comments of the Catalan club.

Javier Tebas Talks on La Liga Referee Controversies

La Liga president Javier Tebas spoke in detail with The Objective today, commenting on the referee controversies in La Liga.

Javier Tebas believed that if all Spanish clubs were asked which team usually benefits the most from refereeing decisions, the majority of the clubs would point out Barcelona and Real Madrid because they are the biggest teams in the Spanish Division.

After this, the President added, “But naturally, no club had a dedicated channel to attack referees or stir controversy, except for Real Madrid!”

Javier Tebas further added: “My Real Madrid is hibernating. A part of Real Madrid is making the mistake of venerating everything Florentino does, of saying that everything is fine. Real Madrid should have an independent opinion.”

The most recent referee controversy was between Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham and Munuera Montero after the official showed Jude a direct red card for dissent.

The Englishman will serve a two-match ban following the incident, while the referee was cleared of all repercussions.
