Next summer’s transfer window is going to be a big one for Barcelona when it comes to improving Hansi Flick’s side.

It is expected that the Catalonian side will not have a lot to spend to make those improvements, however, there are set to be plenty of free agents available.

Bayern Munich have three players who were all coached by Flick, Joshua Kimmich, Leroy Sane and Alphonso Davies, whose deals all run out with the Bavarian side at the end of June.

However, one other side also looks set to be devastated by expiring contracts and currently, they are arguably the best team in the world, Liverpool.

The Reds have let their three most important players run their deals down and some of the richest and biggest clubs are waiting in the wings ready to secure a bargain.

Trent Alexander-Arnold has received interest from Real Madrid, Mohamed Salah could join a Saudi Arabian side and Virgil van Dijk is also not short of suitors.

Fortunately for the Blaugrana, Football365, via ManagingBarca, have claimed that one of these world-class Liverpool players has shown a desire to join Barca.

Van Dijk, who has been the best centre-back in the world since joining Liverpool reportedly wants to play for Barcelona as he ‘likes the club a lot’.

This would be a huge move for Barca as even at 33-years-old old, Virgil is still very comfortably the best centre-back in world football.

If Deco could convince the Dutch international to join it could secure the backline for at least the next 3-4 years, as the current Liverpool captain has shown no signs of slowing down.
