We have now entered the final week of the winter transfer window and there are rumours flying everywhere surrounding Barcelona doing some business before it closes.

Marcus Rashford is still high on the Blaugrana’s wishlist, but due to the wage budget, the club would need to sell someone.

One of the players heavily linked with a move away from the Catalonian side is Danish international Andreas Christensen.

The former Chelsea player has been subject to much speculation as reports in England have claimed numerous Premier League sides are interested in him, including Manchester United and Brentford.

However, Danish outlet Tipsbladet has put all these rumours to bed as they are reporting that Christensen ‘will not leave’ Barcelona this month.

It is claimed that the 28-year-old’s desire is to remain at Barcelona and that he plans on ‘going nowhere’ anytime soon.

With it looking unlikely that Christensen will be moving, it means the Rashford move is almost impossible.

Ansu Fati and Eric Garcia have both decided to remain at Barca this month, and there are no other obvious players who could leave to free up space for the loan move.
