Barcelona’s Sporting Director, Deco, is currently in the process of renewing contracts that are set to expire at the end of next season.

The Brazilian has already renewed Ronald Araújo and Gerard Martin, and there are many more players whose deals are running out.

Gavi and Lamie Yamal are two La Masia graduates who could be leaving for free at the end of the 2026 campaign, thankfully, the pair have publicly expressed their desire to remain at Barça.

Another key player who Deco wants to resign immediately is Pedri, however, the Spanish international is receiving interest from some of the richest clubs in the world.

Sport, via Managing Barca, have claimed that Saudi Arabia inquired about Pedri through his agent during the Super Cup.

They are reportedly ready to make a crazy offer for him, but the 22-year-old has already decided that he will renew his contract with Barcelona until 2030.

If Barcelona were to lose Pedri it would be detrimental, as this season has been one of the best midfielders in the whole of Europe.

Replacing him would come as an almost impossible task, fortunately, with him deciding to renew, Barcelona should not have to worry about the core of their midfield for a long time now.
