Under Hansi Flick, many players have thrived, however, there is one standout who has massively improved compared to last season.

Raphinha, who was close to leaving last summer, having to fight for his right to stay at Barcelona, has exploded under the German coach this campaign, scoring 25 goals and providing nine assists.

The most impressive thing is that he has done this from both wings, usually playing out of position whilst Lamine Yamal is on his preferred right wing.

Unfortunately, due to this electric form, it has meant that some of the richest clubs in the world are once again watching him closely.

This time, according to El Nacional.cat, it is Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, who are long-term admirers of the Brazilain from his time at Leeds United.

The report claims that the former Barcelona coach wants his team to make a bid next summer for the 28-year-old winger.

Even though it is claimed Flick is desperate to keep him, it is reported that the Blaugrana would have to consider accepting a bid over €100million due to current financial circumstances.

However, the article also reiterates that Raphinha is very happy at the Catalonian side and convincing him to return to England could pose the hardest task for the Manchester club.

If the Brazilian continues with this amazing form then the price is only going to go up for City, especially considering he is now one of the early front runners for the Ballon d’Or.
