Barcelona have been offered the chance to sign former Real Madrid player Marco Asensio.

This month, Barcelona are on the hunt for players who can play on the wing, with Marcus Rashford rumoured to main their main target.
The Premier League player is a very exciting forward and gives Hansi Flick options in all aspects of the attack, as he can play on each wing and upfront.
However, El Chiringuito TV, cited by Managing Barca, have linked the Blaugrana with another all-purpose attacker in this window.
The TV show has claimed the super agent Jorge Mendes has most recently offered Marco Asensio to Barcelona.
Despite this proposal, it is being reported that the club has no interest in signing the former Real Madrid player and rejected the offer outright.
Ever since the Spanish international left Real Madrid to join PSG on a free transfer, he has struggled to get regular starting minutes, something he suffered at Los Blancos.
The 29-year-old is very versatile, being able to play in midfield as well as the wings, but when compared to Rashford, the Manchester United player seems to be more suited to Flick’s team.
It would have been very interesting to see if Asensio would work at Barcelona and the reaction from Madridistas to his signing.
