Lamine Yamal had another exceptional game for Barcelona this evening, scoring a goal, assisting Jules Kounde’s goal and also having another goal ruled out by VAR.

The 17-year-old wunderkind already has 23 goal contributions this season, 10 goals and 13 assists, and he is well on the way to having a Ballon d’Or-esque campaign.

During the game, you could tell Yamal was enjoying himself, with fancy passes and skill moves, almost reminiscent of a young Leo Messi, something a former Barcelona player said after the game.

“Lamine Yamal is the combination of Messi and Neymar together,” said La Masia graduate Gerard Deulofeu, via Managing Barca.

Pau Cubarsí, via Managing Barca, also praised his teammate, saying he has been doing this for a long time in the academy.

“I enjoyed watching Lamine Yamal for many years, and now the whole world does!”

Hopefully, Yamal can avoid any more injuries as that is the only thing that seems to be standing in his way when it comes to becoming one of the world’s best footballers.
