This January is set to be a busy transfer window for Barcelona, whether that be with regards to incomings or outgoings.

Ronald Araújo looks certain to depart Barça this month, with Juventus and Arsenal both making enquiries about the 25-year-old.

Ansu Fati is another name that could depart in January, as reports have been claiming that he is no longer in Hansi Flick’s plans.

One player who has been on the fringes of the first team is Eric Garcí, however, Girona, who he was on loan to last season, have been trying to secure his signature, with reports that they are willing to pay €10million for the former Manchester City player.

Despite this interest, Miguel Rico, via ManagingBarca, has claimed that a move away this month is starting to look unlikely.

Barcelona have been impressed with his development as a player and he now looks set to stay if Araújo leaves.

It is also reported that Flick was happy with his performance level as a midfield pivot in recent games.

Even though García is not a starter, every team needs squad players and with the 24-year-old being able to play in defence as well as midfield, he could be an invaluable asset for the German coach this season.
