It looks like the Barcelona, Dani Olmo, Pau Victor and RFEF player registration situation is set to come to an end in the near future.

This story has been full of twists and turns so anything could still happen but in a major update from Cadena Ser, it is set to be good news for Barça.

According to the report, the Higher Sports Council (CSD) has granted the club a precautionary measure to register, at least for the time being, Olmo and Victor.

This would mean that the pair are now set to be available for the Spanish Super Cup final if Hansi Flick’s side can beat Athletic Club tonight.

Unfortunately, the article reiterates that this does not mean they will be able to play the remainder of the season.

What the court is doing is recognising that Barcelona’s 52-page document has some legal merit and needs to be investigated thoroughly before a final decision is made.

Finally, Ser concludes the report by saying that the CSD team who will investigate Barcelona’s arguments will have a three-month period to study the case in detail and give a final opinion.

Fortunately, whilst they investigate it, Olmo and Victor will have their licenses reinstated so they can continue playing for Flick’s side.
