Barcelona forward Ansu Fati continues to attract interest from La Liga rivals Sevilla ahead of the upcoming January transfer window.

According to Diario Sport, Sevilla remain keen on securing the 21-year-old’s services despite recent setbacks in his career.

Ansu has once again found himself sidelined, this time with a hamstring injury that is expected to keep him out of action for about a month.

This latest development has reportedly deterred interest from Turkish side Fenerbahçe, who were previously considering a winter move for the Spanish international. However, Sevilla’s interest remains strong.

Sport reports that Sevilla manager García Pimienta believes he can help Ansu rediscover his best form. The main challenge, however, lies in creating room within Sevilla’s wage structure to accommodate the forward’s significant salary.

As the second half of the season approaches, it remains to be seen whether Sevilla can overcome these financial hurdles to bring Ansu Fati to the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan.
