A report suggests that Thomas Tuchel has asked Manchester United to pursue a substantial January transfer from Barcelona before accepting the position left by Erik ten Hag.
Sources indicate that Sir Jim Ratcliffe, a co-owner, is eager to replace Ten Hag. It has been verified that Tuchel and Graham Potter, who are currently not employed, are the top contenders for the managerial position at United.
A recent report from Spain indicated that Tuchel, aged 51, has selected Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo as his primary objective.
Reports suggest that he has made contact with the Uruguayan player to convey his admiration for his skills and interest in recruiting him to Old Trafford.
