Barcelona is said to be keen on securing the services of Joshua Kimmich at no cost in the upcoming year, as the German midfielder is expected to depart from Bayern Munich upon the conclusion of his current deal.
Kimmich was the focus of considerable rumors during the summer, but he stayed with Bayern and will stay at the Allianz Arena at least until January.
The 29-year-old has been a crucial player for Bayern during the beginning of the 2024-25 season, appearing in all three of their matches in various competitions, including their Bundesliga matchups against Wolfsburg and Freiburg.
Even though he plays a vital part, there are rumors that Kimmich is looking for a fresh opportunity and is predicted to leave Bayern in 2025.
Top-flight clubs Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Manchester City are all reportedly keen on acquiring his services without having to pay a transfer fee.
Nonetheless, as per Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona is also aggressively chasing after Kimmich, with the team determined to finalize his agreement at the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
