A Saudi Arabia club is eyeing a late move for Barcelona defender.

Reportedly, Al-Ittihad of Saudi Arabia is interested in signing Inigo Martinez. According to Mundo Deportivo, Al-Ittihad is determined to strengthen its defense before the transfer window closes. Martinez, as well as PSG’s Danilo Pereira, is a target for the club.
Barcelona is facing defensive struggles, with injuries sidelining key center-backs Ronald Araujo and Andreas Christensen, along with rumors of a potential departure by Eric Garcia.
In this context, it seems highly unlikely for Barcelona to let Martinez leave, as it would leave the club significantly short-handed in defense.
The possibility of Inigo Martinez leaving Barcelona seems slim at present. Al-Ittihad, keen on signing the experienced defender, may find it challenging to secure his transfer given Barcelona’s current defensive issues.
With the club already grappling with injuries and potential player departures, allowing Martinez to leave would further deplete their defensive options.
