Manchester United have offered a swap deal to Barcelona for Frenkie De Jong, per reports in England.

Manchester United has put forward a proposal that has caught the attention of Barcelona. It is believed that Frenkie de Jong could be making his way to Old Trafford as a result, according to Football365.
Erik ten Hag is reportedly eager to work with the talented midfielder once again, showing a strong interest in making the transfer happen.
There has been talk among INEOS executives of a potential exchange deal that involves Jadon Sancho. It seems Sancho is eyeing an exit from United.
This proposed swap deal could pave the way for De Jong to reunite with his former coach and teammates from Ajax, including Andre Onana, Matthijs de Ligt, and Noussair Mazraoui.
Interestingly, the 24-year-old Sancho has attracted attention from Paris Saint-Germain and even Chelsea. His absence from United’s squad for the Premier League opener was pinned on an ear infection, according to Ten Hag.
The final decision lies with Hansi Flick. Should Barcelona go ahead with the deal, they will then need to focus on finding an affordable defensive midfielder to fill the void left by De Jong.
