After showcasing Athletic Bilbao’s number 10 jersey on social media this Monday, Nico Williams left Álvaro Djaló with the number 11.

FC Barcelona is actively exploring options to strengthen the left-wing position and is not simply waiting for a response from the Navarrese winger, which has not yet arrived.

Mundo Deportivo reports that the Catalan club is considering several alternatives, including Liverpool’s Colombian winger Luis Díaz.

Barcelona’s investment cap will remain within the range they were prepared to spend on Williams, whose release clause stands at 58 million euros, with an additional 4 million CPI bringing the total to 62 million euros.

Another player on Barcelona’s radar is Kingsley Coman, who was managed by Hansi Flick at Bayern Munich, though there are concerns regarding his injury history.

Rafael Leão, the Portuguese international currently with AC Milan, is also a candidate who could meet Barça’s high standards.
