At just 18 years old, Marc Guiu left Barcelona this summer and made his debut for Chelsea after the English club secured him by triggering a £5 million release clause in his contract.
Relocating from Barcelona to London represents a major change for the young player, but Guiu viewed the move as ‘an irresistible chance.’
Guiu expressed his excitement about joining Chelsea, calling it a remarkable opportunity to fulfill his dream of playing in the Premier League for a prestigious and historically significant club.
He admitted that the decision was tough, but the potential at Chelsea was too enticing to overlook.
“I’ve always dreamed of playing in the Premier League, and Chelsea is a prestigious club with a rich history. It was a difficult decision, but the opportunity was too good to miss.”
