According to reports from the Daily Mirror, Arsenal’s chances of signing Barcelona’s Raphinha have gotten a significant boost. Apparently, Barcelona has lowered the price tag for Raphinha from £50 million to £42 million, making him a more feasible target for the London club.
Since joining Barcelona in 2022, Raphinha has put up impressive numbers, with 20 goals and 25 assists in 87 games. His standout performance during the 2021/22 season with Leeds United, where he scored 11 goals and provided three assists, caught the attention of Barcelona, leading to his move to the Nou Camp.
During his time with Barcelona, Raphinha has already tasted success, winning the Spanish Super Cup and La Liga in 2023. His journey to stardom started at Vitoria S.C. in Portugal, where he was recognized as the Breakthrough Player before making waves in Spain.
Barcelona’s potential interest in other players, like Nico Williams and Dani Olmo could open up the opportunity for Raphinha to make a move to the Premier League, given his considerable market value.
