Whilst the likes of Kimmich and Zubimendi has been the names mentioned within the club for months, a new starlet in Amadou Onana now appears to be an option for the Catalan giant.
Deco since his return to the Catalan giant as the sporting Director has been clear with his plans, he aims to build a team for the club rather than the manager on sit. a team which he believes could dominate Europe when they step into their prime years.
However, suggestions of a fall out between Deco and Xavi who is expected to resign at the end of the season is said to be false, although both see the transfer market in different ways they are believed to have always been in constant talks over the improvement of the current squad.
Whilst Xavi is keen on already made players, Deco prefers going down the path of great potential as seen in the DM saga. With the expected departure of Xavi, the arrival of Deco’s summer targets increases such is the case with Onana who is highly rated by the recruitment team.
Everton, despite their Financial Fairplay issues are not willing to lower their asking price for Amadou Onana which is rumored to be around €60M, a fee Barcelona are unwilling to match. It is said that the recruitment team at the club value Onana at €40M and will not be paying above their valuation of the Belgium International. Onana still only 22 would favour a move to FC Barcelona as Everton’s survival in the English Premier league remains uncertain.
