Laporta started the interview by addressing the current situation of the club and asked fans to calm and show their support as they still have two titles to win. Laporta gave fans assurance that the situation would reverse if Barça keep playing good football. He also addressed Xavi’s resignation and appreciated his decision by offering him support. On next coach, Laporta said that Deco and board haven’t finalised any names yet and until then he shows his full support to Xavi.

Laporta said that the FFP situation is slowly coming under control compared to the last board as the debt and losses have reduced due to the levers and economic guarantee provided by the board members. He also stated that the budget in the market will increase when sponsors arrive like they did in the 2022 summer. He also stated that Libero, who promised a sum of €60M but didn’t fulfil the money assured, are currently sued for their remaining €40M payment. On the new shirt sponsor, the president addressed the situation with Nike and said that Barça are being offered more than what they currently have in contract with Nike.

Laporta also said that the super league will became a reality in the upcoming years i.e. if not from 2024-25, then it will be from 2025-26. He also criticized the current model of Champions league.
